The attack on the Ukraine took us all by surprise. It closed one of our satellite stores in Kyiv, and sent our friends running. The feeling of powerlessness is one some of us get used to with the world and how we exist in it. Most Everybody wants to help a small country fighting for its freedom from an oppressor. Not much we could do as a small sandal company, but we can help make a difference. We came up with the peace sandal with keychain, and our first run we donated over 5,000$ to some good people in the Ukraine. This year we will continue to produce these sandal and keychain combination and donate to the good people of Ukraine. We can make a small difference.
Chris has been to the Ukraine many times and has many friends over there, both in sandal world and not. Nomadic state of Mind has a store in the shopping district in Kyiv (1st picture below) Chris taught some yoga to a group in Kyiv (2nd picture below)
